OWNER / FOUNDER
A graduate of the University of Indianapolis, Nick majored in exercise science with a concentration in physical therapy. U-Indy is also where he accumulated three NCAA All-American titles and numerous records and accolades as a 200 and 400 meter sprinter.
After college, Nick had the opportunity to work with some of Indianapolis’ most elite athletes, including the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever athletes, at a private, hospital-based facility. His work focused on collegiate and professional basketball, baseball, and track athletes—especially those recovering from injury.
Nick relocated in 2014 to New Orleans where he would open Brattain Sports Performance and became a strength and conditioning consultant for the New Orleans Pelicans. BSP has since become one of the Louisiana’s premier training facilities, helping athletes of all levels find an edge in competition through speed and explosiveness.
In additions to Nick’s work with BSP, he also holds a position as the Louisiana State Director for the National High School Strength Coaches Association, NHSSCA, as well as being an Adjunct Professor for Tulane University.
